  What I would love to see is a bunch of exJW's surround this guy (and others like him) and just laugh so hard when they say these stupid things, I would love to see them face REALITY!

  Usually, JW's are just talking to JW's....Everyone knods their heads... This guy just has a video camera to talk to... It won't talk back to him, he cannot hear the audience laughing. Is everyone nowadays just thinking, "Can I keep my job? Can I make it to Warwick?"

  Dont Give Them More Power Than They Deserve

  a new montra that was recently adopted by the wife and i is this:.

  dont give them more power than they deserve.. here's why i say that, and i point this to those of you still in the congregation, still trying to decide what you want to do.. recently, our family had a little family reunion gathering of sorts, and we were in the company of some extended family that were either df or da, to varying degrees.

  we made it very clear, to any and all in attendance, that we wanted to be respectful and kind, despite any previous perceptions about our "status".... and that our feelings on a lot of things had "softened", and "changed" over the last 2 years.. i am being purposefully slightly vague, but i think you get the point.

  Good pic OutLaw! Haha! I'd rather read the humor here, on this board than EVEN HAVE TO THINK about "preparing for field service"

  Yikes, my brain just starting hurting soooooo bad when I 'glossed over' that pioneer school meeting! Ahhhhhhh, run away, run away!

  I just found out that my youngest brother committed suicide

  my middle brother called me a couple of hours ago.

  our youngest brother, josh, who was 38, was found by his friends in his apartment.

  he hung himself.

  Suicide, the loss of a family member, that you always picture as "just there" is a hard thing to process... things seem unreal. We want to figure out "why"? and "What if".... all that.... but 'we' cannot control everything that happens.... let yourself have comfort from friends, give yourself time.... So sorry, sending our love, cha ching & hubby

  Do you need Art and Music in your life?

  music and art have been a big part of my life since i was a little boy, and although i was never able to play a decent guitar, i can paint.

  my art teacher from college said " i was the most imaginative and constructive pupil she had ever had.

  " i loved that comment, because in translation i realised it meant i had to work harder than other more naturally talented students, but the effort was always worth it.

  i was just thinking that the org has said lots of outrageous things over it's history and most jws just continue onward without a second thought.

  so my question is what do you think would have to be said from the platform or wt to get people to get up and walk out immediately?

  is it even possible?

  70 inch t.v.'s on stage

  's to hang on either side of the stage.

  First, Obliette, thanks for "Janis"... I loved that song when a teenager! Why can't God answer one little prayer? or two? or three? After all, he is "almighty"...

  Second, I think this TV thing is a way to make money... Most likely, the congregation orders these from the "Society"...

  Let's see....

  52,000 congregations times $1,000 in profits equals $52,000,000 (just a modest guess, haha) Do they have a "Monthly internet connection charge"?

  This is all speculation, but wasn't that an Apple watch we saw on Jackson's wrist during his testimony at the Royal Commission? Hey, "Advertise, Advertise, Advertise"... Right? haha!

  hi, i just joined the board and wanted to present myself.. i'm active, in fact very active in congregation activities serving "where the need is great" in a foreign language congregation somewhere in western europe.

  as a young brother, i'm seen as an example as i'm doing all a good witness should do.. i had doubts years ago but i decided just to ignore them and move to another congregation to preach more.

  that worked for some years but i'm now at the exact same point.

  Hi TW, your english is great, no problems understanding you at all, and like everyone said.... take.... your.... time...

  It is quite difficult at first, a flood of emotions go through you, you don't want to 'be the bad guy' and call anyone mean, call anyone a liar, or "assume" anything....

  Just let yourself do research (this is a great place because EVERYONE on this site has done the same as you.... wondered, searched, been confused, been mad, been hurt) and DON'T TELL EVERYONE what you have done.

  Give yourseslf time... If you want to help your family out... be very careful..... go slow.... it is difficult.

  Ever wonder why they same the same things every meeting? Every week? Propaganda... they know they have to repeat, repeat.... So, why not create a circumstance where your family is NOT at every meeting?

  Join a class? a club? take trips? Move? Start getting "Worldly friends" so that when you DO decide to leave.... if you do, you will have friends...
